Power4Schools

The Power4Schools program was established in 2011 through a collaborative effort by the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA), the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO), the Ohio Schools Council (OSC), and the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA).

Palmer Energy serves as the energy consultant for hundreds of Ohio school districts, assisting them with their electricity purchases through the Power4Schools Program.

Since its inception, Power4Schools (P4S) has successfully negotiated numerous supply agreements for participating districts, resulting in cumulative savings exceeding $70 million.

In addition to the direct savings achieved through program participation, Power4Schools actively engages in relevant energy regulatory cases at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO). These efforts are dedicated to preventing cost increases and securing additional savings for P4S members through the regulatory process.
